The AR Market is experienceing explosive growth. The market is destined to be as big and pervasive as smart phones. It will – and already is – generating a slew of new devices and applications. We are proud to the a leading presence in the AR Market.
Our STORY
When we sought to bring our own innovations to market, there were some obvious choices. Those were marketplaces that served a wide-range of market segments. Innovators in those markets get lost in the shuffle. So much so that they must carry the heavy burden of marketing to potental buyers themselves.
But with a little searching, we also found that there were marketplaces that catered to certain market segments. Those marketplaces brought customers to the vendors, and vendors to the customers. That saves everyone time and money.
But we didn’t find a market for Augmented Reality. AR is still fairly new. The biggest market for AR is (still) smartphone app marketplaces. AR glasses didn’t have a dedicated market – until now (early 2026). MAELSTROM provides a marketplace for AR products, apps, experiences, and crowdfunding for innovators who will be future MAELSTROM vendors.

Whether you have an account or just buy from a Maelstrom Vendor as “guest”, our consumer policies apply to you.
SELLER
Vendors are obliged to treat customers fairly. Our policies are meant to ensure that this is so and to quickly settle disputes.
CROWDFUNDER
Early access to innovative products can be magical. Clear and frequent communication is vital. Our policies provide important guidelines.
